What is DigiLab?
DigiLab is a platform for centralising and managing digital orders for dental prosthesis laboratories. It automatically centralises all your impressions from intraoral scanners (3Shape, Medit, iTero, Dentsply Sirona, Shining 3D, Allied Star, Panda, 3 Disc) into a universal inbox. Depending on your needs, DigiLab can be used as a simple inbox to download your impressions, as an order management tool with stage tracking, or as a backbone connecting your existing tools (ERP, CAD software, invoicing).

DigiLab is designed for all dental prosthesis laboratories.
Do I need to change my current tools to use DigiLab?
No, DigiLab is designed to integrate with your existing tools.
How long does it take to get started with DigiLab?
Setup is very quick: just a few minutes to create your DigiLab account and connect it to your cloud accounts from the various scanner brands. Full configuration typically takes less than half an hour.
Which scanners are compatible with DigiLab?
DigiLab is compatible with all the major intraoral scanners on the market: 3Shape, Medit, iTero, Dentsply Sirona (DSCore), 3Disc, Panda, Dexis and Shining 3D. Impressions are automatically retrieved from manufacturer portals and centralised in your DigiLab inbox, with no manual re-entry.
How does collaboration with subcontractors work?
DigiLab makes it easy to share orders with your partner subcontractors. You can give them direct access to specific orders with all associated files (STL, PLY, images).
What file types can I view in DigiLab?
The built-in 3D viewer lets you view STL and PLY files directly in your browser, with no additional software. You can zoom, rotate models, measure distances and add annotations.
Does DigiLab generate compliance documents?
Yes, DigiLab automatically generates the mandatory regulatory documents: declaration of conformity and prosthesis identification card. These documents are customisable with your laboratory details and exportable as PDF.
Can I customise the interface?
Yes, with the Essential plan. You can add your logo, customise the displayed information, and add a banner message.
How are production stages managed?
DigiLab lets you define and track production stages for each type of work: fixed prosthesis, surgical guide, orthodontics, etc.
How does DigiLab pricing work?
DigiLab offers two plans (Basic and Essential) with pricing based on monthly case volume. The price per case decreases with volume. Monthly payment with no commitment or annual payment with 1 month free.
Can I roll over my unused credits?
With the annual plan, yes! Unused credits are automatically rolled over to the following month.
What happens if I exceed my plan?
Two options: a proposal to switch to a higher plan, or purchase additional credits individually.
Is there a free trial?
Absolutely. The free trial includes 100 cases over 14 days.
Where is my data hosted?
All your data is hosted in France, on HDS-certified infrastructure (Health Data Hosting).
Is DigiLab GDPR compliant?
Yes, DigiLab is fully GDPR compliant. Principles of data minimisation, storage limitation and security by default.
How are file transfers protected?
All data transfers are encrypted with AES-256. Connections exclusively use the HTTPS/TLS 1.3 protocol.
Who can access my orders?
You have precise control over access through role management. The administrator has full access, while operators only see orders assigned to them.
How do I connect DigiLab to my ERP?
DigiLab offers native integrations with Logidents and MIA Soft. The connection with your software is made via DigiLab's secure API.
Can I export my orders to Exocad?
Yes, directly via DigiLab (orders page, Exocad column) but also with DL Desktop (free Windows/Mac application), your orders are automatically exported in Exocad format (.dentalProject).
Does DigiLab have an API?
Yes, a comprehensive API is available for advanced integrations. The API is documented and 3 days of technical support are included with the API White Label offer.
What is DL Desktop?
DL Desktop is our free Windows/Mac application that automatically downloads your DigiLab orders locally to your computer. It runs in the background, retrieves new orders every 2 minutes, and automatically generates exports for Exocad.
What configuration is required for DL Desktop?
Windows 10 or 11, Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended), 500 MB of disk space.
Can I choose which orders to download via DL Desktop?
DL Desktop automatically downloads orders based on your role: all orders for admins, only assigned orders for operators. Conditional settings are available based on order validation status.
Are PLY files supported by DL Desktop?
Yes, DL Desktop natively supports PLY files.
Is DL Desktop available on Mac?
Currently, DL Desktop is only available for Windows. A macOS version is planned in our roadmap. In the meantime, the DigiLab Cloud platform remains accessible from any browser, including on Mac.
